Katawa Shoujo Question.
1.What route did you connect with the most? Why?
Tough one, I'd say I connect with every route in it's own way. But if I had to pick one, I would say Hanako since I'm a really shy person in real life.
2.What is/are your favorite song(s) in the game? What comes to mind when you listen to it?
Red Velvet and Innocence. When I hear RV that I think about being in some jazz bar and I'm straight edge. As for Innocence, it really captures the mood of innocence of these characters and it reminds me of that slow instrumental of "We Are" that played in the early episodes of One Piece.
3.For those who didn't aim for a specific girl, what was your first route, and why do you think you got it?
Emi was my first. I think it might have something to do with how Emi felt like she wanted to fix Hisao or something after giving him a near fatal heart attack in the game and felt sorry for forcing that on him. Story wise, that's why I thought I got Emi since I thought that after that it would branch off to Hanako/Rin/Lilly/ since I pissed off the Shizune and Misha.
4.Which H-scene was the best? Describe what you liked about it the most (Ex. art, text, setting).
I loved the bath scene between Hisao and Lilly. Really emotional stuff and I just loved the interaction with those two during the scene. That and the art was pretty.
5.Who was your favorite bro/background character in the game? What did you like about them?
The Nurse. I just loved how much of a supporter he was during the Emi route and he had a nice sense of humor. That's right, The Nurse was a true bro as he tried to help you.
6.After this game, did you change anything about yourself? What did you change, and how do you think this game brought you to change it?
I work out more everyday, I try to draw more everyday, and I try to be more sociable as well. I was half way on working out, but slacked off every other day, but this game gave me determination to continue.
7.What scene in the game made you the happiest?
Hanako's good ending. I'm a sucker for happy endings and I just loved the kiss Hanako gave Hisao near the end. That and the bonding both of these two had after learning how much of a mistake their sex scene was.
8.What scene made you the angriest?
Probably learning how much of an ass Jigoro was to his kids. Face it, he tried to teach his deaf daughter how to talk. If you don't know what it's like listening to a deaf person talk, it's not fucking pretty, it's something that people can hear their own voices take advantage of. That and what use would her being able to talk on a phone accomplish if she can't hear you? Sure she can learn to read lips and all that, but on a phone, you really need an interpreter.
9.What scene made you the saddest?
You mean happy sad or sad sad? Happy sad was Lilly coming back to Hisao on his hospital bed while playing the jukebox Hisao got for her while shopping for Hanako's birthday gift. Sad sad would be Rin's "neutral" ending if you could call it that. The fact that she told Hisao to forget her made me depressed and I regretted doing that even though I got her good ending before getting that ending. That and "I have no arms to hug you with"
10.Was it rape? (Referring to the Hanako/Hisao sex scene)
NOOO! I stand by the theory that Hisao and Hanako weren't emotionally ready for sex with each other. Yes, to me sex is both physical and emotional. Besides, it was consensual on both ends. Hanako allowed Hisao to do so and even admitted that when Hisao questioned it later.
11.Assuming you all played to game, curious about cripple sex, at what point did you realize the game was nothing like you imagined? What is the game to you now?
I went into this game expecting to bang disabled girls and to see what a few friends on twitter were talking about. Now this game is something I play to either make myself feel better or sad depending on the girl I play. I would say that during the first act meeting all the girls and seeing fleshed out personalities for most of them is what changed it, and the lesson that a disability is only a problem if you make it one was a flag that made me notice that this wasn't a regular Hentai game.
12.What did this game lack, aside from other routes? What did this game excel at?
I'd say it lacked immersion with there being few choices. To me the lack of choices for me felt flat during the Shizune route. Shit was dry as hell in that route. As for excel, I loved the story in most of the routes. Any story that can make me feel emotional and still remember the characters is awesome in my book.
13. Finally, which route was Hisao the most retarded?
Gotta go with Emi. This was a tough one, I was struggling with not understanding Rin, Him neglecting his meds during Lilly's route or white-knighting attitude during Hanako's, but I still say Emi since usually when someone says their so-and-so isn't around anymore, I take that as my cue that the person is dead and is either a bunch of ashes in an urn or 6 feet under. Seriously, how could he not understand what that meant? When Emi's mom said that I fully understood her. Did no one around him have anyone that died? I mean seriously, I learned that shit when I was a young boy.
With that, I feel a little better about filling this out.

Interesting Work Day!
The full story is this. I was reading a paper that a customer left behind, reading up about the World Cup, and all of a sudden I hear a lady yelling ""Help Me!" At first I thought it was some kids joking around, since I noticed a bunch of kids hanging around outside today during hours when they should be in school. But then, I decided to look behind me, I noticed that it was some old lady in a car that was screaming help. I ran over as fast as I could. I tried to ask her what she needed, but she was very unclear. For example, she asked me for assistance in getting up, so I did that, then after falling down, she decided that she was ok where she was. I was noticing things about her, scrawny body, tall, weird speech patterns, Then I asked her a few questions like "How long have you been in the car?" "Would you like a cart?" "Are you with someone?" and "Would you like to talk to one of my bosses?" The time question was kinda pointless, seeing as she was in a car without the keys on, as for my boss question, at first she said "yes" but then "no" to talking to my manager. As for my question of if she was with someone, she said it was her husband/boyfriend, wasn't clear enough for me to get a direct answe. Then I just asked her if she would be OK, then she said yes. I used that as a way to walk away and get one of my supervisors to come out and deal with the situation, after I walked away, she yelled for help again, which made me glad that I was getting my boss. After going inside and finding one of them, they called the store manager, and I lead them to the car where the lady was. After a while, they sorted it out, didn't follow up on it. As a reward from my job, they gave me a $5.00 ticket that I can use in the store.
In retrospect, I do wonder what happened with the lady in the car, seeing as how I thought that she was mentally unstable, could be from bad experience. I do hope that whatever was bugging her is getting resolved and that she recovers from whatever is ailing her.

My thoughts on Generation V of Pokemon.

If you ask me it sort of looks like a Lucario were-wolf being glomped by a Metroid. But since we'll have the full reveal in two weeks, I am looking forward to what this new Pokemon might be and what role it will play in the new movie, whenever it be a major role like Jirachi, Shaymin, Darkrai, Lucario, or something minor like Munchlax.
As for my thoughts on what it might be, so far I am leaning towards a Pokemon that will evovle from a new Pokemon in the game, ala Lucario. Since, when Lucario was first revealed everyone, including myself, thought it was going to be a Gen IV legendary ala Latios and Latias were in Movie 5. Though I'm not ruling out the possibility of it being a legendary, evolving from a previous evolution line like adding a new stage or another branch evolution, or it being a basic form. It's anyone guess right now, and you won't know until those games come out. Sad truth, I know since I highly doubt that the new movie would make a reveal lime that
But as for the topic of the new Generation V game that has been popping up I thought it would be the perfect time for me to share my thoughts on the subject. While I am skeptical that the new game that was announced almost a week ago is really the new entry into the main series of Red/Blue/Green/Yellow, Gold/Silver/Crystal, Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald and Diamond/Pearl/Platinum set or if it's a new spin-off game like Ranger, Mystery Dungeon, Snap, or Rumble as example and featuring some new Pokemon. Sort of like how Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness, Pokemon Dash, and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon showed off some Generation IV Pokemon off as well. Primarily Muchlax, Bonsly, Lucario, and Mime Jr. Muchlax was feature in Gale of Darkness as a part of a side quest in the game, in Dash it was one of the Pokemon you can control and Mystery Dungeon it gave you a sidequest. Bonsly was actually the first Gen IV Pokemon you can fight with, though it only knew one move and you can only use it in one area. Lucario was mentioned in Mystery Dungeon as being a great explorer, and obtaining a certain amount of points earned you the Lucario Rank and a statue of Lucario appearing outside your base. Mime Jr was also a statue you can earn in Mystery Dungeon after achieveing a certain rank. Personally my feelings are that this new game is going to be something along the lines of a spin-off series that will feature the new Pokemon appearing in the next saga like how those other games
Yes, there is the possibility that it could be like Generation II and how it was compatible for both the Game Boy and the Game Boy Color, and when the true successor for the DS comes out, that the 3rd version of the game will come out on the DS's successor. I also do recognize that we are reaching the 4 year mark since the launch of Diamond and Pearl series in Japan, which officially started the Generation IV business, and it did take almost 4 Years for the release of Ruby and Sapphire to be replaced with Diamond and Pearl, and the average time between the transition from Red and Blue to Gold and Silver was 3 years. Same goes for the transition of Gold and Silver to Ruby and Sapphire, it took 3 years for that as well. While there are signs that point to it being the Generation V Game, since the press release did mention an improved battling system. I'm actually curious as to what's going to be improved about it, other than adding new moves.
Status for me is, definite buy no matter what, but I'm not going to speculate over what this game is going to be about, cause I'm pretty sure we're sticking to the same routine like Mega Man series, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm not going to wrap my head around the endless speculation that you can find on Bulbagarden or Serebii forums. Instead, I'm just going to look at official information, get my impressions from the Japanese version, enjoy these games when they come out in America, play them to hell and back, and then claim them to be the best Pokemon game in the main series ever. I have done that for a long time and it hasn't disappointed me, well except for Hoenn region but that's about it.

March Be Damned!
Battlefied 2: Bad Company
Final Fantasy XIII
Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver
Princess and the Frog
Ponyo
Rereleases of some Miyazaki Movies
Mega Man 10
High School Host Club Ouran Complete Set
One Piece Season Two, Sixth Voyage
Soul Eater Part 2
SGT Frog Season 2, Part 2
Darker Than Black
Case Closed Season 4 & 5 Viridian Colection
You may be asking yourself, "Dax, what's with this list of random video games and anime?" Well, it's serves for me as a reminder of all the cool stuff I want that's coming out in March. I know I'm under no obligation to buy all of this stuff Day one, except for maybe Battlefield 2, Heart Gold and Soul Silver since I put a $5.00 deposits on them. There also the fact for Ponyo I am looking at the special edition at Best Buy that comes with a Ponyo Doll, and that Princess and the Frog was one of the best films I saw from 2009, seeing as how I held off seeing that until 2010.
But then again it's not like I can get to them anytime soon, seeing as how I'm trying to finish up my 2D and 3D animation classes as best as I can so I can graduate, and I think money might be tight around that time. There's always holding the purchases over until a later date and wait for a price drop, but this mostly serves as just a reminder of what I consider to be an overkill of things that I "DO FUCKING WANT." All I will say is this, March? When did you become so cool with releasing cool stuff?

Happy Holidays!
As for my holidays, I know what I'm getting for Christmas. YAY, that's always nice, well except for whatever my sister is getting me. I personally expect to get the 2 volumes of Scott Pilgrim I need to complete my collection, well that is until Volume 6 comes out. Now to focus on what to get my family. Normally, my mom takes me shopping for herself, dad, and grandma, and she picks out what I buy, while I go alone for my sister and brother since they made a list that I can get ideas form and get from any store that I pass by.
That's it for now, see ya next time.

Xbox Live's New Update
Monday, October 19, 2009
Oh yeah, I have one of these.
Sorry for the lack of updates, but College is a bit of a pain right now, just started college midterms, and I just recently re-entered the workforce. That and I do have quite a backlog of games that I am trying to beat. Currently playing Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Mario and Luigi 3, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky, and Pokemon Platinum on the DS front. My 360 time has gone to me playing Halo 3 ODST, Batman Arkham Asylum and Left 4 Dead, that is when my brother isn't playing a sports game or Guitar Hero game. Wii, mostly Call of Duty: World at War, Punch-Out!!, Donkey Kong Jungle Beat, Mario Galaxy at the moment. Damn, that's a lot of games, and so little time.
As for School, it's going OK, sure my math teacher can be quite a bitch at time, but I just learn what I can and try to move on. My three art classes are kicking my ass this semester though, got to work on my Webpage layout, might work at it at Home with Paint.Net, then go back to school for Dreamweaver and Photoshop. Then my other class, I need to come up with a logo, which is coming along nicely. My Flash class, create a "how to" with Flash, my only problem is, I have no idea of what to make it about right now. The Weight Training class is really the one where I can just cool off and work out. I need to kick myself into gear this semester, don't want to fail any of my classes.
As for work, I'm currently a Cart Attendant at ShopRite. It's OK, I'm outside, rarely deal with customers, and the people around me seem nice. Sure my feet are sore at the end of the day and I only work 5 hours a day for 4 days a week, but in this economy, you got to take what you got to take, besides, the pay is decent enough.
That's it for now, stay tuned for future updates.

Heart Gold and Soul Silver
Dammit, Spring 2010, get over here. Oh well, guess I'll get back to playing Pokemon Pearl for the moment.

School Days
As for my Algebra class, other than the teacher coming in late, it was basically the same stuff I did back in high school. Kind of boring, but hey, at that, I can hope to get an easy A. The Homework I actually finished around 30 minutes. How do I know? I tweeted the time I started and finished my Homework, how that's for convenience? According to my teacher, We don't have class this Monday. Not sure about my other Monday classes though, we probably will since they are the first classes and I need to know what to find as far as books go.
Though the only downside was, the book I needed was over $120, and my financial aid was cut due to my family having a decent living. Since now New York only gives Financial Aid to people that need it more, aka people that are poor. Guess I really can't complain, since I only got it for my disability, and my parents are able to keep a roof over my head with cable, electricity, gas, water, food, internet, and my all time favorite video games.
So I got 2 more days of new classes, Monday and Wednesday then work on my sleep schedule and try to balance that while doing homework and finding a job.
This is Daxdiv, signing out.

Some Good News Everyone
My reaction.... FUCK YEAH!x2. Sure I may have the Darkrai from the Toys R Us event from when Movie 10 was coming out and the Shadows of Almia, but this is different cause instead of giving them away with some gimmicky move, you get the chance to fight Darkrai, something I wanted to do since Diamond and Pearl was out.
As for the Punch-Out!! Wii sequel, Punch-Out!! is currently my favorite game, so far, I'm focusing on beating everyone challenges in both Contender and Title Defense mode, that and I'm waiting for Doc Louis's Punch-Out!! reward for Club Nintendo Members. Also the idea of Create a Boss and Online Multiplayer intrigue me. Along with a new twist to the gameplay mechanics of the series. Here's hoping that they throw in the ability to fight as one of Little Mac's opponents, that is, if they get the greenlight to work on this game series again.

Club Nintendo Rewards
Well, recently this week Club Nintendo just released their rewards for people that were able to reach Gold and Platinum status. For Gold status, you only get a calendar for 2010, as for Platinum members, you get to choose between a collector’s item known as “Mario Hat” or you can get an exclusive WiiWare game called “Doc Louis’s Punch-Out!” in which Little Mac can go toe to toe with his mentor Doc Louis. As a sidenote, I was expecting this game to be Doc Louis in his prime fighting since he was a former WVBA champion. Now I am conflicted with what prize I should get. Let me list the pros and cons of this
Mario Hat Pros
· It’s a Mario Hat
· It’s a rare item
· Would look sweet to have around
Mario Hat Cons
· I can get the hat from eBay or any other online auction site.
· Most people will probably go for the hat.
· I have nowhere to put the hat.
Doc Louis’s Punch-Out! Pros
· Exclusive WiiWare Title in the same way that Club Nintendo has the Game & Watch Collection is exclusive to the program
· I really love Punch-Out!
· You don’t need the retail version of Punch-Out! to play it
· You fight Doc Louis.
Doc Louis’s Cons
· Fear that this game might go public after a while
· The game might not be good
· Might be either too easy/difficult
· Novelty could wear off fast as it is basically an over glorified demo.
Personally I am leaning towards the game due to the fact that at least for the Mario hat, I know that a few people will soon hock that on eBay for a quick buck, like what some people are doing for the hats that were given out in Japan’s Club Nintendo program. The game while someone could sell the code, there is more of a chance that could be fake than anything else, that and I can imagine the price for that game being high despite the fact that DLPO, is basically going to be a short game, it’s just going to Punch-Out! on the Wii with just one fighter to fight. A recent auction I saw for the hat that was given out in Japan had the hat going for $40 starting price, to me that is a reasonable price for an exclusive item like that, so I might end up getting the hat when I finally get a job. So I guess I solved my problem.

My thoughts on CN Real.
I might be in the minority, but I actually liked some of the shows that aired on CN Real, except for The Othersiders, Survive This is pretty good, It's Survivorman with kids, hell, it has Survivorman Les Stroud giving these kids advice on how to survive in the wild. BrainRush, I like the concept of people answering questions on a roller coaster especially in Episode 2, where one guy didn't even answer like 2 question and shouting "Oh My God!" throughout his questioning process, that and I am somewhat of a roller coaster junkie. As for Destroy Build Destroy, you basically have kids in two teams trying to destroy parts of a vehicle for their opponent to use or not use, build a machine out of it, see if you can sabotage it when you win a challenge, and then build it before the challenge, do the challenge and winner destroys loser machine, and it's hosted by Andrew WK, AWESOME!. Othersiders, PASS!
Sure, I agree with the notion that shows like this don't belong on Cartoon Network to begin with, but I do like these shows. Though I am glad that CN isn't shoving them down your throat as much as they did when it first premiered. I think it might have to do with the fact that the shows didn't do so well in the ratings. After all, CN didn't release any info on how well the Wednesday shows, aka Othersiders and Survive This, did in the ratings. However, they did give out some info on their Saturday Night Line-up, which consists of BrainRush and Destroy Build Destroy, saying that the ratings were up compared to what was on TV last year for CN, better than nothing really, they could have just kept it quiet and make more people suspicious about how well this is doing.
But then again why should they care what I think. I'm way out of their target demographic by 6 years since this aims to the 9-14 crowd and I am a 20 year old. Oh wait, they made a video on YouTube about it.
Notice how it was publish it on their YouTube Channel over their video service known as CN Video. Methinks it has to do with all the complaining from the older crowd, but why would they care? I know there is a big backlash at Toon Zone, Cartoon Brew, and possibly some other sites I don't go to that is heavy on animation.
Is there anything you can do to fight this? Well there is, you can support one of my friends effort called, "Stop The Madness"
Basically I find this to be the most level headed campaign against the network since it does tell you to support the network, but not the Live Action. Like buy the merchandise of any of the animated shows, since it does make a statement that, "HEY! We love cartoons and we're able to show you by buying your merch." After all as far a TV station goes, I know they care about 2 things “ratings” and “money”. However, since my view doesn’t count for crap for two reasons, reason one is that I am not a Nielsen Family, reason two is the fact that I am out of their age range as previously stated in this post. My only way of supporting CN now is to buy their merchandise, since they don’t care where the money comes from, money is money to them. So next time you see a shirt at Hot-Topic or a DVD with the CN logo on it, and you have the extra cash...BUY IT!!! But if you don't plan to buy it because of the way the network is let me just say this... RETHINK THAT IDEA!!! Just because you disagree with the network right now because of this, that doesn't means you should give up on the network, especially if you care for it. Do you want CN to succeed and further support the Live Action movement? I say no. Buying merch like that can help. I plan to buy the Chowder DVD at my local Toys R Us later this Month, along with the Flapjack, Total Drama Island, and some of Secret Saturday merch when they come out to show my support of animation on Cartoon Network. That's the only thing I can do and hope that you can do it as well. Peace!
Pokedex Completed....sort of!
Not sure about Mystery Dungeon, they've been hit or miss for me. I might get the new one for the DS when I get a job.

Nintendo's Tech Support Rules
What was wrong with it? Turns out the Disc Drive Mechanism and Fan were broken. Kind of suspected as much when my Wii made this noise every time whenever it try to read a disc or the fan sounding almost like my 360 does on a daily basis. It's was like for almost a month or so, and I really couldn't afford to send it in for repairs, but now that I could afford it, I decided to, just so I could play Punch-Out!, which is an awesome game by the way, I plan to review that game later. So far everything is working, I can still play Smash Bros. Brawl, and Animal Crossing: City Folk. So glad that I could play Animal Crossing again.
What did I learn from this? Nintendo does tech support right.
